I was rasied in the 60-70 at local ohio tracks . my fav. was cloverleaf speedway' wow the action we saw. back it was FULL CONTACT sport. no cry babies. sam decapeda was a thrill to watch.my grandpa would pick me we spend the weekend pulling his car from painsville on fri. to lorian or raceway7 or sandusky.                   for a young man in Cleveland WHATa way to growup'

Mercer- lots of odd creations with straight axles, coupes, sprints, and best of all you could get into the pits at 13!

Barberton and Canton. Worked tech for Russ and Vince when they owned both tracks in early 70s.

my favorite was coon road speedway and stateline my father Kenny clute had number 89 with don strain as driver

I guess Greater Pittsburgh Speedway. It was my first track as a young kid. Lou Blaney and team cars, Jim Sease, Lundy,Unger just to name a few. It was every Friday night. My Dad and Pete Cassella were best friends and drove truck together. Have known the Cassellas all my life. So Clinton is special to me. That little quarter mile track put on quite a show.
