Here is another Bell Lines Indy roadster, and it must be the ride Bob Cleberg is shown in in the Open Wheel story about the Filter Queen Spl. Both this article and the Open Wheel say this Bell Lines car & the Filter Queen car are one and the same. Here is the link about the Cleberg car and a poor pic of the Filter Queen in car 1989. Also, 239flathead, you build some very nice cars.  http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z16823/Kurtis-Kuzma-KK-500.aspx

Too bad we missed each other.  I was there with my wife, Larry and his wife, and Gary Pinkerman and the infamous John Cook  I believe it was a Burger King restaurant if I'm not mistaken.  We were house hunting that weekend and got together with the Dicksons to check out Parkersburg,  Belpre and Marietta.  I ended up buying  a house off olc Route 50 'Red Hill Road"

I asked my dad if he remembered the Bell Lines Indy car.  He did, and noted that once it had been brought to Parkersburg and put on display at the Sears and Roebuck store on 5th and Avery Streets.

He remembered that Bell Lines also sponsored an Offy powered midget that ran at the Dunbar track with Amos Waddell as the driver.

Also, he had his doubts about the Bell Lines Indy car ending up as the Buzzie Dils/Frank Burris "Deuce".

I can remember going to see the Larry Dickson WKYG Indy racer #80 on display in Parkersburg back in the early '70s (as I recall, it was on display in the parking lot on 5th and Market next to what is now Jimmy Johns Subs, but at the time was a Burger Chef).
