First post here so I apologise if this is the wrong topic, but I often pass what looks to be an old dirt oval track travelling south on 77 by New Philadelphia.
The road is called Mathias Speedway Rd. but I have not been able to find any information on it at all.

To the list of closed tracks, you can add Middletown Speedway, Middletown, Ohio. Also Trojan Speedway & Boone Hill Speedway, both were around the Troy area.

That was a motorcycle short track that ran through the 1970's. Ran by Hugo Mathias and family. I have alot of friends that raced there including Ronnie Rall. Was supposed to be a great facility. There was a huge post on flattrack.com about the track, but they recently "upgraded" and I can't find it.
